Clan Lab Instructor

Brock Hensley is a Clan Lab Instructor for NES, Inc. (NES). Mr. Hensley is an Executive Board Member for the Clandestine Laboratory Investigators Association and has over 22 years of law enforcement experience, including six years as a Narcotics Detective. He utilizes his proficiencies in public speaking, communication, and teaching to provide NES clandestine laboratory safety training for law enforcement personnel throughout the U.S.

Mr. Hensley is Level A certified and is highly knowledgeable about opioids and methamphetamine labs. He spent four years assigned to the Evansville Police Department Methamphetamine Suppression Unit, where he was instrumental in writing policy and served as Lead Detective and Senior Detective. He is certified through the State of Indiana Law Enforcement Board and performs in-service and recertification methamphetamine safety for a range of methamphetamine lab investigators.

Mr. Hensley is a graduate of Indiana Law Academy with a passion for teaching about methamphetamine labs and their dangers. He has conducted training for numerous agencies and institutions including the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy, Southwest Indiana Law Enforcement Academy, National Association of District Attorney’s for Methamphetamine Lab Investigation, Evansville Police Department, Evansville Fire Department, Boonville Police Department, Chandler Police Department, Mt. Vernon Police Department, and Henderson, KY area fire departments. Further instructional experience includes Firearms and Defensive Tactics Instructor for the Evansville Police Department. Mr. Hensley is also an expert witness for the Vanderburgh County Court System.
