The 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio have recently come to their conclusion, and what an historic event it was! Olympians seemed to fly, records fell, and tears flowed (some joyous, some bitter). We marvel at the supreme athletic abilities of the world’s best, often feeling hopelessly inferior in comparison. Stretching is more important than many of us may think, with numerous associated health benefits. Some of these are more obvious than others. Stretching can:
- – increase energy and stamina
- – decrease the risk of injury
- – improve posture
- – promote an elevated mood

For the investment of a few minutes of your time to start the day, you can see an immediate improvement in your personal state of wellbeing. What have you got to lose?
