Many classes will be concurrently presented in-person with limited seating availability (this listing) as well as online in live, instructor-led webinar format (view the webinar listing here).
NES has utilized its many knowledgeable law enforcement instructors, as well as international experts in marijuana grow house operations (also known as “cannabis cultivations”), to develop a course that will better prepare law enforcement personnel to safely respond to and dismantle indoor grow houses and outdoor grow sites. NES has provided this training for state and local law enforcement for the past 20 years. This two-day course covers the hazards that law enforcement personnel may encounter when working in and around indoor/outdoor cannabis cultivation and extraction operations.
This course covers grow house investigative techniques and operations, chemical and physical hazards (fertilizers, electricity, mold, etc.), the personal protective equipment and techniques necessary during response and dismantling as well as proper disposal procedures. These topics will be reinforced with hands-on practical exercises. All participants will receive a copy of the Marijuana Field Guide (Green Book).
