Overview:

The course will cover determining your generator status, recordkeeping and general management requirements, EPA’s e-Manifest system (implemented June 30, 2018), hazardous waste identification and classification, facility standards, container and tank management, Land Disposal Restrictions, tiered permitting, California’s waste minimization program (SB 14), the Unified Program, and an overview of DOT regulations affecting hazardous waste shipments for generators in California. Annual hazardous waste management training is required for large quantity generator personnel to maintain certification. Students will receive a course manual and certificate of completion.
