Fentanyl is a very powerful synthetic narcotic that can be dangerous and even fatal if improperly handled, and the addition of the fentanyl analogs has amplified the hazards and risks of encountering these powerful narcotics.

Training Topics:
This webinar provides an overview of fentanyl history, dangers, toxicology, pharmacology, fentanyl analogs, field testing instruments, scene departure, and decontamination as well as symptoms of exposure and the use of naloxone.

Who Should Attend:
This program is recommended for environmental health department employees, cleanup crews, and any other personnel who could potentially be exposed to these dangerous substances.
