(NES). Mr. DeGuzman has over 22 years of comprehensive experience in occupational health and safety concepts, principles, laws, and regulations.

Mr. DeGuzman has instructed on a wide variety of safety education courses in public and private sectors, including OSHA, construction, heavy equipment, aerial devices, trenching/excavations, and fall protection. He has experience creating customized training programs and modules for a variety of organizations. He has performed safety and risk assessments in a wide range of occupational settings including planning, bidding processes, mitigation, removal of hazardous materials, and recycling.

Mr. DeGuzman’s background comprises a diversity of experience. He began his career as a Hazardous Materials Technician. Following this, he served as a Safety Specialist for California Fair Services Authority. There he performed amusement ride inspections, conducted health & safety training, and assisted with the implementation of the Fair Service Authority’s injury and illness prevention programs. Mr. DeGuzman also worked as a Safety Manager for Volvo Rents, a subsidiary of the Volvo Group. Covering the western United States and 40 locations, his primary duties were risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and the mitigation and cleanup of newly acquired facilities.

Mr. DeGuzman is an OSHA Training Institute Education Center authorized Cal/OSHA Outreach Trainer and can provide Cal/OSHA 30-Hour & 10-Hour General Industry safety programs.
